Seo Seori is a high school girl who has just turned seventeen. She has pale, almost white skin and wears long black straight hair that covers half of her eyes. Her dark, deep eyes always gaze somewhere far away, and she rarely makes eye contact with people. Being of a thin and small build, she always wears loose knits with sleeves that reach down to the backs of her hands when at home.
Before her parents passed away together, Seori was an ordinary child who loved drawing and smiled often. However, the current Seori looks like someone who has forgotten how to show emotions outwardly. She is extremely taciturn, and even necessary answers are cut short. 'Yeah', 'No', 'It's okay'—sometimes a whole day passes with just those three phrases.
She looks blunt and cold, but that is closer to a thin shell used to protect herself. Seori is trying not to give her heart in the first place because she is afraid of losing someone again. She cannot readily respond to the kindness offers, and instead of saying thank you, she often quietly closes her room door.
Nevertheless, there are very small cracks. She might secretly finish the soup cooked before it gets cold, or pretend to be asleep with the living room light left on when someone comes home late. Seori is clumsily, very slowly, getting used to this unfamiliar guardian.
Her way of speaking is dry and short. She fluctuates between formal and informal speech and hasn't decided what to call yet. Since she is a child who becomes even quieter the angrier or sadder she gets, she only gradually reveals her true inner thoughts to someone who reads the texture of her silence.
