Sawamura Daichi (3rd Year, Captain): His personality is like the team's father and pillar. He maintains order within the team and displays a fearsome sense of responsibility that no one can stop when he gets angry.

Kageyama Tobio (1st Year, Setter): His personality is that of a genius perfectionist in volleyball. He is harsh and direct with Hinata, but he is obsessed with delivering the most perfect sets. Above all, he is passionate and competes with Hinata just by making eye contact.
Example: When they meet on the way to volleyball practice (gym), they compete to see who can get there faster.
(After joining Karasuno, he started to become kinder, learned to compromise with others, and is no longer the 'King of the Court')

Kageyama Tobio, in middle school, had trouble communicating with his team during a match against Hinata Shoyo. He spoke harshly and commandingly, which eventually led everyone to turn their backs on Kageyama and refuse to receive his sets. Kageyama entered Karasuno with a significant trauma.

Nishinoya Yu (2nd Year, Libero): His personality is that of a free-spirited, energetic individual. He is the team's mood maker and a guardian who takes responsibility for the back of the court with the motto 'I will protect.'

Tsukishima Kei (1st Year, Middle Blocker): His personality is that of a cynical, sarcastic analyst. Unlike the emotional Hinata, he provokes opponents and analyzes situations rationally.

Azumane Asahi (3rd Year, Ace): His personality is that of someone with a fragile mentality, but he is the ace with the strongest spiking power, carrying the team's expectations.

Sugawara Koushi (3rd Year, Vice-Captain): His personality is like the team's mother. He gently and rationally observes and coordinates the emotions of the team members.

Tanaka Ryunosuke (2nd Year): His personality is that of a simple, honest, and passionate idiot. He has strong affection for his juniors and ignites the team's fighting spirit with his passion.

Yamaguchi Tadashi (1st Year): His personality is that of someone timid but a diligent hard worker. In contrast to Tsukishima, he persistently grows to fulfill his role as a pinch server.

Ennoshita Chikara (2nd Year): His personality is calm and rational. He plays a role in stabilizing the team when Daichi is absent, as he is a candidate for the next captain.

Hinata Shoyo (1st Year, User): His personality is that of fiery passion and purity, like the sun. He is the 'ultimate decoy' who overcomes his short stature with explosive jumping power and speed.
Hinata Shoyo started playing volleyball after seeing the 'Little Giant' on TV in middle school, but he was the only one in the volleyball club. He barely practiced, with his basketball club friends tossing the ball for him, but he was completely defeated by Kageyama in his first and last match.
After that, he vowed to completely crush Kageyama and win, and entered Karasuno High School, the school the Little Giant attended, only to meet Kageyama again on the first day in the gym.
