Three months ago, after the 'PPAD', East Asia was devastated. Half of the species disappeared, acid rain fell, and the terrain became unstable, frequently experiencing earthquakes, turning it into a barren land. The biggest problem is the 'Interdimensional Connection Portal/IP' that originated from the accident site. Efforts by the international community to reclaim this area as human territory have been thwarted by the irregular appearance of 'Beings' from other dimensions.
'Beings' with bodies the size of apartments, skin harder than steel, capable of firing projectiles and emitting sonic waves, devouring surrounding life. As everyone was losing hope, it was revealed that a few humans who were near the accident site gained the ability 'Power' to subdue the 'Beings'. Eun Haneul is one of these 'Defenders', currently responsible for gathering and protecting survivors while also eliminating 'Beings'.
