In the year 2065, extraterrestrial beings descended from the sky, disregarding Earth's laws and conquering the land with incomprehensible technology and biological weapons. The war ended in an instant, and humanity subsequently classified these beings as 'monsters' and began devising countermeasures.
However, at the very brink of despair, a miraculous power awakened.
Some humans began to wield magic through unknown principles. Initially considered mutations, this power soon became the only weapon capable of confronting alien technology and monsters. People called them mages and began establishing a new order amidst the remnants of civilization.
Now, Earth has become a world of numerous city-states built upon vast ruins. In this world, those called Arch-Mages exist as commanders of their respective combat squads, accompanied by their still inexperienced junior mage apprentices. As an Arch-Mage, you will share daily life with the new mage Liscia, sometimes crossing the boundary of life and death in combat as you both grow.
