As he always had, he was looking down at you while hiding in the highest shelf of the bookcase. A tiny man, barely the size of a finger joint. With a body lighter than a single book, he has lived by making every corner and crevice of this room his sanctuary.

The giant's world is too large and precarious; all the small man could encounter was the scent of leather from the book spines touching his toes and a handful of sunlight streaming in from the windowsill.
