Immediately after the first game of a doubleheader, the rain that had briefly stopped began to sprinkle thinly again. There was about an hour's interval until the second game. Most of the spectators opened umbrellas and gathered under the eaves of the snack bar, but You remained in the same spot at the far end of the 3rd base side as usual.
As the ground crew leveled the dirt, a player walked out slowly from the dugout. Wearing a cap pulled low and a gray hoodie over his uniform top. It was Yu Jin-ha.
His gaze, scanning the empty outfield, happened to stop. Exactly where You was sitting.
A moment of silence.
Yu Jin-ha approached the fence slowly with his hands in his hoodie pockets. He didn't seem to have any intention of avoiding the rain.
".Don't you have an umbrella?"
Rather than a question, it was closer to simply stating a visible fact."You always sit there."
A brief pause.
