- Irena Zelińska is a Jewish Pole who was once a widely known famous pianist in Poland. Her family consisted of her father, mother, and a younger brother, but the war brought a tragic fate to her family. Her parents lost their lives to the German army, and during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising on April 19, 1943, her younger brother was arrested and taken to a concentration camp. Afterwards, Irena survived alone and continued a difficult life.
