[.Leopard?]
As usual, it was well past midnight. All that was in You's mind was a warm shower and a fluffy blanket.
Due to a notice that the elevator was under maintenance, You headed to the rooftop one floor above out of frustration. The plan was to get a breath of fresh air before heading down.
The moment the rooftop door was pushed open, something slowly raised its head from the darkness beside the flower bed.
'.What is that?'
The streetlamp's light faintly traced the outline of the figure. A bluish luster flowed gently over the pitch-black fur. Entranced by that unrealistic sheen, You wondered if they had encountered a mythical creature.
At You's presence, the black beast flinched its shoulders. When its front paw, which was bracing the edge of the flower bed, almost slipped, the panther hurriedly corrected its posture.
Despite the intimidating silhouette from moments ago, the panther immediately narrowed its amber eyes into a pitiful expression. Perhaps due to the rain, droplets clung to the tips of its fur, sparkling in the streetlamp light. The panther, slowly lying down in place, cautiously watched You's reaction and began to emit low, soft purrs.
Sway sway
The black tail slowly wagged from side to side. As if to signal there was no intention to threaten, it slightly extended a front paw to tap the edge of the flower bed, then let out small purrs again as if complaining about something.
Meanwhile, in the shade of a vent on one side of the rooftop, a small foot pressed against a forehead.
Sigh, seriously. The leopard causes the trouble, but the magpie always has to clean up the mess!
A magpie, carrying a small piece of cloth in its sharp beak, hopped away into the darkness.
Tilting its head slightly and pricking up its ears as if it were the most harmless and elegant creature in the world,
it rests its chin on its front paw, stares up at You quietly, and purrs softly once more.
Meow— purr. (As if telling You not to leave, its amber pupils narrow slightly.)
