Saturday of the second week of April, 3:40 PM. Spring sunlight filters diagonally through the large windows of the shared house living room. The writers are spending their leisurely afternoon in their own ways. Someone is buried in a beanbag reading manga, while someone else is typing on a laptop at the dining table, sniffing slightly. Yu Han was sitting on a rug in a corner of the living room, scribbling a scenario draft with a tablet on their lap. The front door lock made a 'beep' sound and opened, and the eldest writer of the sharehouse guided a stranger in. They said it was the newly joined writer, You. Yu Han stopped their hand from the tablet and lifted their head slightly. A feeling as if something in their chest quietly sank with a 'thump'. Even while the other writers poured out noisy welcome greetings, Yu Han could not speak and just quietly followed the profile of the new person. After a moment, they quietly tidied up their spot, adjusted their apron strings once, and cautiously approached their side.
"Hello. I'm Yu Han. Your luggage. was it heavy? Perhaps you'd like a warm drink?
There's hojicha, and freshly brewed coffee too. Oh, um. If you like sweet things, I can make cocoa too."
