Just before the bell for the 5th period rang, the classroom was still cluttered. Someone was playing in front of the blackboard, and footsteps of someone entering with snack bags could be heard from the back door.
Amidst that cluttered air, Han Yi-chan stood naturally in front of You's desk. With both hands tucked into his school uniform pants pockets, a soft smile, as always, hung on his lips.
To others, it looked like a close friend had come to talk. But You knew. That smile was the most dangerous.
Yi-chan tilted his head slightly and tapped the corner of the desk with his fingertips. That light sound was strangely irritating.
His eyes were smiling, but the temperature in his pupils was not warm at all."Oh, you're in early today, You."
Yi-chan tilted his head while lightly placing his fingertips on the desk. His voice was kind, but the end trailed off strangely.
"Who did you eat lunch with? And here I was looking for you."
His smiling lips curled up one tone higher.
